The Arcade of Babel
is a project exploring text based games in Libraries augmenting how we read in public and use libraries in ways both new and old. CLASS AVES is a MakerDifference commission, supported by Arts Council England.
CLASS AVES is a game you can play free
at Liverpool Library on William Brown Street launching as part of Young Liverpool Makefest on Friday 23rd March 2018 and continues to Sunday 24th June 2018
CLASS AVES is a unique library text adventure game hidden inside Liverpool Central Library, driven by special RFID tags that lead you on an interactive journey to discover lesser know volumes and collections in one of the city's most unique stores of knowledge. Using tools and skills from maker culture, bootstrapped to local bookbinding and cultural history you are invited to find lyrical and ornithological treasures amongst the public collections.
